photoshop cs plug in!!

I am looking to for a plug in for photoshop CS whick lets you cut out hair, trees and fur stuff like that, I was going to use Auto mask plug in could you tell me if it is compatible with CS? If not is there a other plug in I could use? It needs to be industry standard.

Have you already tried the Extract feature that’s already in Photoshop CS?

But use it with a twist.

Extract from a duplicate layer; use that to make a Selection; and use that Selection to make a Layer Mask on the original layer.

Then dump the Extracted layer.

Try using the Magic and Background Erasers in a similar way.

Ann – then you’re left with color contamination on the edges and you get a horrible extraction. There’s a very good reason the commands work on the layer transparency and don’t create masks.
