I recently upgraded to CS2 and am having a problem keeping existing type from pixelating when I use the text type tool to make corrections or when I cut and paste. These are basic functions so I do not know why my copy is coming out blurry.I am usually working with a adobe pdf made in 6.0 or 7.0 but it also occurs with tif and jpeg files and happens on both of my computers.Sounds like I am missing something basic, but I never had this problem with Photoshop 5.0 thru 7

Text pixelation can occur if you image resolution is to low. You need to be above 200 ppi ideally, depending on image size.
Also, make sure anti aliasing is applied.
