Hi everybody,

I have scanned al lot of film negatives (BMP,28Mb) and would like to downsize the files and store them on cd with as little data loss as possible. I have been using the batch convertor in PSE but that one compresses my files way too much.
When saving induvidual files PSE ask for a compression rate but in batch convertor it doesn’t (it picks a rather high rate actually).
Is there a way to tell the PSE to use a low compressionrate when the batchconvertor is used?

PSE 2 has "JPEG low, medium, high, max" quality options for the batch convert.
Are you using version 1, which must not have that?

You’re right, I’am using version 1.0. Seems to me that I have to get a newer release. Thanks a lot this will save me loads of time trying to work it with version1.0
