Photoshop metadata keywords- can I import a vocabulary?

I am wondering if I can draw keywords from a controlled vocabulary in the Photoshop metadata keywords field. There are sample keywords there broken in to categories like people, place, event. Where are these "starter" terms from Adobe coming from? Is there a file or folder of them somewhere that was installed on my hard drive when I loaded the application? And can I replace them with a different list? If I could open that keywords list and see my controlled vocabulary, it would be incredibly useful in managing my images.
