I have many hundred small samples of solid colored cloth. I would like to find out the CMYK / RGB color of each. If I scan them in and use the color picker (set at 5 x 5), there are slight varieations as I move around the sample. How might I create an average of the whole sample ? Sample size is 1" x 1/4".
I thought about tring to blur the sample, but don’t know if that would change the output.

Thanks,
David

Reduce size (smart resize) to 25% and use colour picker? – this should average 4 pixels to 1 pixel…
