I have a problem making an action to resize and save for web. It seems that the action always wants to open and save the original image used to save the action as well as the images I am trying to batch. I made this work in previous versions before ( after many tries) but I seem to be stuck and frustrated this time around. I just got a new machine and am trying to set up all of my frequent actions in CS.
My action steps are as follows:
Image size
width 550 pixels
with scale styles
with constrain proportions
interpolation bicubic
Export
Using:save for web
Operation:save
Format:JPEG
Without interlaced
Quality: 55
the last steps seem to be the crux of the problem and are: Without save HTML file
With save image files
In: 250 gig HD: Images: the Hat sessions

How can I save the original action without saving the image used to form the action to a specific folder?

When batching I check the "overide save as" box and instruct it to save to the specific folder, but the action still tries to save the non batched sample image again to the Hat sessions folder thereby creating an error telling me that image already exists in that folder and do I want to replace it or cancel the procedure.
Frustrated,
Hal
