Using Photoshop/ImageReady CS on Mac:
I am trying to create a tabbed navbar using the instructions at <http://www.adobe.com/tips/phs8navbar/main.html>. On page 3 of the instructions (http://www.adobe.com/tips/phs8navbar/page3.html) step 7 instructs to "Duplicate the group by choosing Layer > Duplicate Layer Group. ImageReady duplicates each layer in the group including the layer-based slice, the rollover states, and the layer styles.". This partially appears to work, i.e a new layer group is created, a new tab I can reposition is created and the layer for the individual tab is duplicated with the effects from the tab I duplicated from. What doesn’t happen is that a new slice for the new tab is NOT created in the Web Content panel as I would expect so that there would be a duplicate set of rollover actions for the new tab/slice and the duplicated tab does not appear to be in a new slice.
Any help as to where I am going wrong is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Eric
