In our workflow, every time an image is worked, we save the old layer and create a new layer reflecting the moves the customer asks for. Sometimes our customers change their minds, and we must go back to the previous layer. Sometimes we have up to a dozen or more customer showings, creating this many layers.
My question is…. I know that layer sets will definitely create a much smaller file, but, from a quality standpoint, is having numerous curve adjustment layers more detrimental to an image than making a curves move to a pixel layer, copying the layer, making more curve moves, copying the layer..etc..etc..etc, or is there no difference in file quality/corruption between the two methods.
