Jodi what gives? We wait a week and a half for your entry and you give us a darn test shot! Just KIDDING.(LOL) I like the saturation and contrast on the Chrome Sample.

Didn’t you see the just KIDDING? ( I really was joking) I just read your post and I see you like the saturation and contrast as well, makes me feel like I might know something after all.

I know what you mean about the weather putting a damper on photography. This shot is from Sunday after our last three storms passed through. http://www.pbase.com/image/24811393

It started snowing again this morning and we are expecting snow 3 of the next 4 days.

I wouldn’t say it put a damper on your photography ! Your images are indeed breathtaking. The scenery that surrounds you is in fact great photo opps. Lucky you. Problem here is that there is barely any snow and everything is grey, boring and frozen. Sometimes the sun comes out in the morning and I’m thinking.." Yay, the sun !"…then withing 1 hour it’s gone and replaced by more miserable frostbitten boring grey scenery. Boy, that sounded bad. So anyways, ya done good !

Thanks, that was a snapshot taken while getting ready to ski. It started snowing a few minutes later with the temp at O and a strong wind and yes it’s been gray and gloomy since for the most part.

Jodi,

that’s a great comparison set. Thanks for doing it. I’m sure my "old" 6900 doesn’t have a chrome setting, but I’m off to look.

James, the picture is wonderfull. The scene looks like hell… (I HATE WINTER!!!)

Sorry, I had to say it. I feel better already 🙂 Weather here just went from +5C to -14C in 4 days (0C = 32F). My little body didn’t get time to adapt. Now feeling like a cold is coming..

Thanks Ray. I force myself to ski and snowshoe so that winter seems more bearable. I prefer my hot, balmy Louisiana days ( daze).
