Monitor calibration and default profile in PSE2

Last evening I recalibrated my monitor using the Adobe Gamma utility. Now in PSE2, if I turn Full Color Management on and save a new document, the default profile it wants to embed is the monitor profile I created. Previously it was Adobe 1998. Did I mess something up?

You turned this on by Edit>Color Settings and then tried to save an image?
