My smudge tool cannot draw a smooth smudge. It appears as a series of dots unless I use the tool incredibly slowly. I did not have this problem on my old G4/PS.7 and I use this operation a lot – it has only appeared on my G5/PS.CS. I have 1G RAM and the file sizes are less than 30mb. The brush size I am using is usually less than 10 pixels and I am using the default brush settings. It is very frustrating, can anyone suggest anything.
