When I have drawn one path and want to draw another one inside of it and have this second path essentially k.o. the area it defines, (like a compound path in Illustrator) how do I tell Photoshop to do this? Im trying to a compound clipping path…
They both just sit there and are not combining or compounding. Anybody know how to do this?

Thanks.

Choose the right-most option icon for the pen. See other ‘path’ threads posted recently with the same question and solution.

That did it.
Thanks.

Is that documented anywhere in the help files?
If so I could not find it.

Sadly, I found out about it the same way you just did, by not being able to get it to work and coming here with the problem.

Hooray for the forums I say.
