I created a newsletter (mostly text, some graphics) in Photoshop. I’d like to save it as PDF. If I print to Adobe Acrobat I get a file size of 2MB for a single page, and if I save as Photoshop PDF I get a file size of almost 8MB–bigger than the original Photoshop file! How can I save as PDF and get a file size that reflects the fact that there are hardly any images? Thanks

What are your profile settings when you print to PDF?

Is the text remaining as editable text layers or have you flattened or rasterized the text?

When you save as PDF, deselect layers when saving.

Make sure to save as PSD first.

And then get yourself a copy of InDesign. While PS can certainly do this type of job, it’s like drive nails with a screwdriver.

I went ahead and redid the file in InDesign. Thanks for the help!
