artistic filter results do not show unless i enlarge

after running the artistic filter on my file in CS i cannot see a change if i scale it up to 1:1 i can see the effects of the filter

does this mean i can only see the filter on very large prints?

No. This only affects what you see on screen, because of the way the screen image is interpolated to display at various sizes.

You should always evaluate your edits at 100%, 50% or 25%.
