Try this…

In your action:
* Record a File > Save as (.jpg) command
* Do NOT change the file name
* Save in any folder. It makes no difference at this time.

In the Batch dialog:
* Destination <Folder>
* Click "Choose" and browse to the "real" \destination folder * Turn ON option "Override action ‘save as’ commands"

This sounds wrong, but it will probably fix your problem.

Does this help?

Your screen shots (both the same) do not show that you recorded a Save as… command in your action. It needs to come after the Image size command.

In your action:
* Record a File > Save as (.jpg) command
* Do NOT change the file name
* Save the test file in any folder. It makes no difference at this time.

How to fix the other problem:

Take the "close" command out of the action. It is not needed.

The screen shots didn’t show that i recorded Save as because the screen was posted before the suggestion to record save as 🙂

This is the screen shot now, also one of the Automate batch windows

That is because you have the dialog box for Image Size enabled. Toggle it OFF in the actions palette and you won’t be asked.
