How do you try to do this?
There is no "save as copy" command.
What do you actually want to do?

If T_DO has got you on track, remember you can always rename/delete files from the Save As … dialog [like any Windows program].

I am running windows 2000. When I check the copy box in the save as menu it does not add the words copy to the file name. I use this alot as an editing tool so not being able to save as copy without typing in the words really slows down my work flow. Is anyone else having this problem?
How do I correct it? Thanks

I tried it on Win 2000 and had no prob. I have 2 suggestions:

1) Have you applied the 7.0.1 update? If not, try that.

2) Otherwise, old favourite: reset prefs [see FAQ].

It’s funny. Most people in the forum HATE that it puts the word "copy" in the name. Funny…
