hi everyone. I wanted to do something simple and do not know if this is possible on photoshop 6.0. I have a picture and I want to divide it into 9 squares. The result is the same picture except divided into 9 or some squares. Does anyone know how to do that on photoshop 6.0 or what kind of effect this is called. If anyone has ever seen the televisions that make one screen but are divided into 6 or 9 squares, that is what I am talking about. Please help if you can, thanks.

Download the following Action Set, un-zip them, load them into your Actions Palette, and run "Create Zones." This will draw out guidelines that will divide any size image window into equal 9ths, Tic-Tac-Toe style. At this point you can use the guidelines to snap equal-sized marquee selections to split out separate selections to create new images.
