When I export (at work) from InDesign 2.02, Illustrator 10 or Quark 6.1 and attempt to rasterize the eps’s into Photoshop 7 they come in as a tranparent layer that contains no information. This also happens in CS with an Illustrator CS eps or InDesign CS eps. I have to export as pdf and rasterize it into Photoshop 7 to get art to work. What gives?

If you are using Norton Anti Virus, disable it.

And try creating PDFs of your Quakr of InDesign documents. Those rasterize a lot better.
