Works fine under administrative access, but when students log in under their accounts it forces Photoshop to quit. It does this in both Jaguar and Panther.

Obviously a permission problem, but we have the user accounts set to "No Limitations" for Applications.

Is there a specific folder that houses the Spell-Checking capabilities that I should change the permissions on?

Thanks,

Fixed it! Set permissions on the "Spelling" folder to Read & Write for "everybody." Now the Spell-Checker works in all accounts.

Something to take note for if you have additional user accounts not on administrative level.

Why don’t the students use Photoshop’s own Edit menu/Check Spelling instead?
