Image in print preview window not color managed

When I’m about to print to my Epson 2200, I go to Print with Preview, and the small preview image does not match my full size image. Isn’t it suppose to match my image. Am I doing something wrong?

No, you got the headline right.

The printer utility preview is not colormanaged, use it for position only.
