Is there an easy way to move my actions, etc. to CS after updating from PS7? I don’t want to move anything that’s old like the RAW converter from 7.

What’s the best way? BTW, where are loaded actions kept?

Your custom actions, etc mus tbe saved in Photoshop 7 first. Where you save them to is yoru choice. Then simply load them in Photoshop CS or place them in Volume/Applications/Photoshop CS/Presets

As Scott said.

Provided that you have Saved them all in Photoshop 7, you can put copies of all of them in the appropriate subfolders inside Photoshop CS/Presets.
They will then show-up in the list when you click on the pop-out menu in your Actions, Brushes, Styles palettes etc..

to move all the actions currently loaded in the action palette, simply move the action palette’s preference file to the other computer… check with the other preferences files…

Bad idea.

Start with clean prefs. on the other computer. Also, it won’t work between 7 and CS anyway.

SAVE your Action sets, Styles etc. in your Presets Folder and move copies of those PRESETS to your other computer — or to your new installation of CS.
