Problems printing with Photoshop 7 Mac OSX and Minolta Magicolor

I’ve been trying to print from Photoshop and I get multiple pages of garbled letters and not my pdf file. I don’t have this problem with other programs.
Please help I have a deadline. thanks

Have you updated to Photoshop 7.0.1?

Exact version of your operating system?

Have you tried specifying ASCII in the printer driver options?

Let me clarify that. Are you using Binary encoding under the Photoshop/Print with Preview…/Output? If so you need to change that to ASCII.
