Photoshop 7 bitmaps type when saved as Tiff

Am using Photoshop 7 on Mac G3, OS 9.1. When I save my type layers as a Tiff they appear and print bitmapped (with antialiasing on) I never had a problem with Photoshop 5 when saving as a Tiff.

Is that Photoshop 7.0.1? Any reason why your machine can’t run Mac OS 9.2.2? Have you tried saving as PSD?

What fonts are you using?
If they are Type 1s, do you have both the screen and the outline fonts on your machine?
