Hi all,
I’ve been using the Image > Adjustments > Selective Color… tool for fixing colors for my photos. I found it quite useful and powerful tool. But I still haven’t understood the real concept behind it. When I use this tool, I basically check each colors such as Reds, Yellows, Greens, etc from the drop-down menu and adjust the CMYK values for each. I get the desired effect after playing with it for 5 or 10 minutes but I’m still not quite aware of the concept of how this tool works.
Why CMYK color space is used and why not RGB?
When I adjust CMYK values for Reds or Yellows, does that mean every Red or Yellow is a combination of CMYK?
Can someone make it clear for me?
Ben
