Clear your temp folder, reboot and try running the installer again

Ok I cleaned out everything erased any traces of photoshop/imageready and I cleaned temp folder like you said and the same thing happened. Im stumped now

copy the photoshop folder from the disk to your desktop, reboot in safe mode (start> run> msconfig> safe mode) then run the install from the desktop folder.

Argh it told we Cannot copy data1: Data error (cycle redundancy check).

bad disk or drive. can you try copying to a network from another machine then back down to your desktop?

I have 56k… it would take days and it doesnt let me cause the progam is copywrited thats my guess its not my hardrives I know its in tip top shape

either the cd drive or the photoshop disk itself is bad.

they don’t sell 7 anymore, but you can still use it to upgrade.
