Photoshop CS, mac OSX 10.3.3, 867mhz G4, 1 gig ram.
This is an odd problem that doesn’t happen all the time, usually every 10 or so openings.
On opening from the finder or edit original from InDesign, Photoshop will come to the front and look like it’s opening the image, but then it will just do this forever. It’s not freezing or anything, it just comes to the front and the spinning clock (not beachball) stays there.
Clicking in the finder then ‘wakes up’ Photoshop and it opens the image immediately.
I also get this half way through opening a large document. Photoshop will look like it is opening it, the progress bar will appear, it will get about half way through and then just stop. Clicking to the finder then wakes Photoshop up and the progress bar continues.
Anybody got any thoughts?
