copy Type effects

Use to be able to simply drag type effects (emboss, drop shadow) from one layer to another to apply the same.

When I do this in CS2 it removes it from the layer I drag from and gives it to the other type layer. Not what I want, which is a copy of same to new type layer.

can’t you right click on the effect in the layers palette and Copy Layer Style?

Alt+Drag(the effects icon) will copy.
