missing tool bar and palettes

for some reason my tool bar and paletts have disappeared…………. if I go to window and say show tool bar………..it doesn’t do anything……. it is like that for all palettes as well.

I defragged my computer and since then they are missing

can anyone help

Do they come back if you hit Tab?

If not, try resetting preferences. That’s the usual fix when Photoshop acts weird.
