I am trying to follow a recipe in a book for creating effects on text but the book is Photoshop 5 and I am using CS.

When the book tells me to Layer->Render Layer does anyone know what I should do to do this in Photoshop CS? Because
there is no Render Layer in the Layer menu of CS.

Thanks

Steve

Perhaps you are being are asked to convert the original shape/vector property of the type layer to a bitmap image. To do this go to Image > Rasterize >
Type. If not, the only "render" options are under Filter > Render.

Peadge 🙂
