When editing text in CS I get strange behavior – if I highlight a word and type over it, some letters do not appear, others run over other letters. It does not correct until I go on the next thing, e.g. click on another tool or layer.

I’m running CS in Panther on a 1.6 gig G5 with a gig of RAM.

It doesn’t sound like the issue was ever resolved in that thread.

I have this problem too, in PS7 in OS9.2.2… but only with a few files, at apparently random times. I assumed it was a temporary RAM problem and never thought of it as a major issue. Since I don’t use PS as a text editor I don’t find it too much trouble to ignore it on the occasions it happens. But if this happened with every file every time I used PS I think I’d be looking for some answers, too.
