I’m going to have to create a stroked path with a specific size — 3/16" in the first application. How do I convert from Photoshop’s pixel size to dimensions?
TIA

Use a bit of maths. Divide the dpi by 3/16. For instance, if your image is 600 dpi, divide 600 by 16 then multiply by 3 = 112.5, this is what your stroke should be.

Geoff, that is very helpful.

It also brings up the idea that perhaps PS’s metrics could be translated as the measure (CS4) option that allows a person to give the scale he wishes to work with.

But that is in the future.

Your answer is Golden.
