Hi –

I have a layered image in PS in which one of the layers is set to 20% opacity and is clearly visible; when brought into IR, it becomes invisible and must be bumped up to about 40% in order for it to become visible…

Any thoughts?

thx
Andrew

Are you using web-safe colors? Some colors which appear fine in Photoshop will not display the same in Web environments. If this layer contains an image, it might just be that the gamut of the image isn’t fully representable. Does this happen no matter what is on that layer?

Hi Jon –

No, actually I thought that might be the problem at first, but it isn’t…

(lol… I know I should use more web-safe, but heck…)

I’ll try with some other colors to see what happens –

Thanks,
Andrew
