My situation is this:
i’m on a G5 Dual 2ghz with 1GB DDR and all the fixin’s had upgraded my 10.2.8 to PANTHER only to notice a significant slow-down in performance in PHOTOSHOP CS.
posted this question before and was given a few tips, of which i haven’t learned how to put to use, might
someone be able to clarify this or give new advice?
I WAS TOLD TO:
TRASH ADOBE PREFERENCES
TRASH FINDER PREFERENCES
DELETE CACHE FILES with MACJANITOR
and
SOMETHING ABOUT PERMISSIONS
……………………….
what and where are these files, what is permissions?
how do i run these things and how might they help my CONFIG…
any other advice is more than welcome
