uninstall problem

I have both version 7 and version 6 on my pc. I want to uninstall version 6, but when I go to add/remove programs and try to uninstall, I get an error message saying it’s unable to locate the p6 uninst.isu file. What can I do? Thanks.

reinstall 6 then uninstall. leave shared programs alone if asked.
