Hi,
is there a more flexible batch image processor for CS3 that allows me to use a scale factor for each image to be converted into JPG, instead of a fixed size?
I presume you mean a percentage of its pixel dimensions.
Sure – Image, Image Size, and then in the top boxes select Percentage.
Make it an action or droplette and be happy.
Any specific SIZE would be FIXED size and that’s what Loquak (what the heck is loquak.. some type of duck with Low Quaking sound?) doesn’t want. And the Percentage is the option to work more with the pixel than the size (yes, it does change the size but base on the in/decrease of pixel).
I don’t read his question as that at all, but if he wants to ‘scale’ the amount of reduction, he can still specify a percentage in a different dialog box of the Save…for devices.
NO, he wants a little more than that and that makes the whole thing becomes impossible.
YES, he wants to RESIZE
NO, he doesn’t want to resize to FIXED size but variable sizes
NO, he doesn’t want to do manually but automatically
YES, he can do whatever he wants to do *but* NO AUTO.
And the Percentage command you try to give to him isn’t the normal resize command but the Enlargement feature. The option to enlarge the image to a larger scale for larger print.
