are being used or is it just a matter of tweaking the colours by hand ? have seen this efect used in lots of music vids especially

dont hink its Lomo, nice effect though,the effect i’m looking for is trying to get an old warm saturated kind of feel.
i’m sure theres a stock plug in/filter to do it, but which one thats the question.

I remember first seeeing it on a music video years ago of the band "The The" and its always stayed with me, and it used this effect on a car driving along an american coastal route and it was stunning.

tried to find a photo with similar tone and light as the example from my library > I don’t mess around on Other People’s pictures

not exactly the same but a very similar

the beach photo looks like the corners have been darkened I see that a lot on LOMO images

maybe dupe the image use a blend mode (multiply? darken? vivid light?) and add a gradient mask?

will try an attempt if time permits
