I have a german version of CS and installed the (english) CS2 tryout. Now I have problems with the fileinfo in CS. CS now uses the new fileinfo dialog box of CS2(!). No problem so far.BUT it`s not possible anymore to save fileinfo templates under CS! As soon as you load them again, they´re blank!
So I tried to make templates in "Bridge" and applied them to some Raw files. CS2 reads the fileinfo perfectely. CS1 shows the fileinfo ONLY in the dialog box, but NOT in the metadata section within the filebrowser!
Very strange. How can I get the old CS fileinfo dialog box back in CS1? Stefan

No idea anyone? Since the installation of CS2 tryout I simply can`t use my fileinfo in CS anymore. Stefan

Come one guys, am I really the only one having that strange problem with the fileinfo dialog box? Anyone out there from Adobe who could know the answer? The CS2 tryout screwed up my "fileinfo workflow" in CS.

Aren’t the meta data informations stored on an XMP file now?

I don`t know, Pierre. In CS at least the metadata of my RAW files are stored in an XMP, because I set my RAW preferences that way.
But anyway, the problem is, that I cannot create any metadata templates in CS anymore. CS uses CS2`s fileinfo dialog since the installation of CS2 tryout and that obviousely does not work.So the question is, how I can get CS1 to use its own fileinfo dialog box again.

Anyone from Adobe out there who could help me getting rid of this problem that CS2 tryout introduced into my CS installation?

either buy the upgrade to cs2 and move on, or uninstall the tryout and reinstall cs1.

Thanks Dave,
but the german version is not out yet and in the meantime I wanted to learn the new features of CS2, but continue to "work" in my german CS1 version.
