I posted this a month ago but did not receive an answer regarding capability of earlier versions of Photoshop.
I have several hundred photographs, the processing of which I need to automate. Would it be practical for me to create actions to:
1.auto rotate and crop, stopping for me to confirm?
2. auto enhance levels, stopping for me to confirm?
3. save as compressed TIF (action stopping to allow me to input file name)
4. reduce image size to 400 pixels
5. save image as medium jpeg (action stopping to allow me to input file name)
6. close file
Elements 1 has so far been sufficient for my needs until now. I understand that I will need a full version (not LE) of Photoshop to enable batch actions. I don’t want to invest in PhotoShop CS just for this one task but might be able to buy an earlier full version of Photoshop for a reasonable price. What would be the earliest version that would cope?
many thanks
