I’m doing a project for school that involves doing a personal "website" using photoshop. The design I am working on for my home page was inspired by an image that is an actual photo of a mural that was done on the corner of a wall. I saw it on a site that is a free download for printing an image in large sections. It’s an intersting site. Here’s the url.

Anyway, I created a selection of squares using the photo as a sample and then I did a clipping mask between the squares and my photo. The problem is that my photo is not "perspective" as it was in the photo of the corner.
I tried playing around with changing the reference point on the perspective transform function on my photo without any luck. Does anyone have any ideas on how to improve the perspective on my attempt?

Here’s a link to the original photo and my image.

Thanks,

Try edit > transform > distort?

If I understand you correctly Free Transform should solve your problem. Drag the right corners to get the perspective distortion that you are looking for. Then hit Enter and you have it.

To do what you want, you need to make two separate perspective transformmations, one for each wall. Make a selection with the inside edge being right down the seam of the corner and encompassing the entire side of the image (left or right) you are going to transform. Using the Free Transform tool, and holding the Alt key, adjust the two outer handles to give the perspective you want. Make the opposite selection for the other side and repeat.

Thanks guys. I’ll experiment with Peter’s idea. I read that CS2 has a vanishing point feature, I’m curious to see what that does, but I don’t have CS2 yet…
