Hi to everyone.

I have a curve adjustement layer. How do I fill it (paste a mask into it)?
The mask being a B&W copy of an image channel.

alt-click on the mask in the layer palette before pasting. This one gets a lot of people, so you’re not alone 🙂

Hold down the ALT (Mac: OPTION) key on your keyboard. Click on the layer thumbnail in the Layers palette. You will now see the mask; hit Paste.
