I was steadily self-teaching myself Photoshop, but let things sit awhile and now have forgotten everything! I think one of my kids might have been playing around and changed a setting somewhere because now I cannot use any color, all I get is shades of grey and black no matter what color I choose. Can anyone help me re-set this so my world will be colorful again? Thanks

Hi

It sounds as though your mode has been set to greyscale. Try clicking File > New and check that the Mode is set to RGB colour. In your case it will probably be set to greyscale.
If it is then change it and this should sort your clour issue out. Cheers

when you start a new document switch the grayscale setting to rgb or cmyk whichever you want.
