I’m new to CS and struggling.

Looking through the file browser and checking to see what is in each folder I’ve discovered that some of the folders are actually duplicates and I have one with absoloutly nothing in it!!

Now I can create new folders and move pictures into and out of folders I don’t know how to delete duplicate or empty folders.

Many thanks for any help offered

Why don’t you go browse to your HD and delete them in Windows?

It used to be pretty simple on the MAC, if that’s what
you use and is simple on the PC. Just find the folders
in the windows viewer: either operating system and
click on them and hit the delete key.

Maybe there is something more to this. If the folders
don’t disappear then they might be read only. Right
click on the folder in PC and uncheck "read only" box.

Suggestion: Leave the folders – especially if they might be locked. They may be there for some future use which might not be immediately obvious. They may contain hidden files you need. Besides, you will not recover any significant amount of memory even if you do delete them. My guess is that if someone put them there, you’re going to want them sometime.
