I have created a GIF web banner for a project at work. I send my boss the file and it animates but it won’t link. On my computer it will link as well as animate. I know that when I save the file as optomized I get both a GIF as well as an HTML file but the html won’t open either. Am I just supposed to submit both files to the website or am I doing someting wrong?

Please help me,
Adam

A GIF image cannot contain a link. It is just a file. You will need to provide either HTML code or the URL of the link you want, as well as the ALT tag you want.
