Help! I’m a newbie. I need to take product shots and drop out the background. Is it possible to use a chroma key blue to avoid outlining and masking?
Thanks

You can use any colour, provided the colour is away from the colours in your subject. Usually I prefer white.
Set the magic wand to an appropriate amount and selection isn’t a problem at all.

BTW, I use white because this won’t leave any unwanted colours reflecting on the subject.
