Photos pixilated when printing photo packages!!

OK, I know this can be done. My printer (Kodak 8500) prints beautiful 8×10’s but when I choose a picture package, the smaller shots become pixilated. I kno wthat sounds backwards, but it’s true. The larger shots are clearer. Can someone please help. I’ve tried everything I can think of.

My best guess is that your default resolution is higher for your 8×10. Check the default resolution of your picture package on your smaller prints and increase it if it is too low. I’ll bet it is printing at 72dpi.

Desmond…2 things:

1) How do you like your 8500? I am debating between that and the Olympus P-400. Any thoughts?

2) Are you now able to print the smaller shots?
