Maybe one of you helpful experts can let me know about this… I just upgraded to Mac OS X, and reinstalled Photoshop for OS X to a new directory.

When I copy my KPT filters (from KPT 2.1 and 3) to the new Filters folder (in PS for OS X) they don’t show in the "Filters" menu.

Have I lost the use of all my "legacy" image editing filters, upon upgrading to OS X?.

Cheers,
Norm Caryl

That’s right. Plugins that aren’t written for OS X won’t run on OS X.

You will be able to use your legacy filters if you install a second copy of Photoshop 7 and set it to open always in Classic.

You will need to launch the copy of Photoshop that runs in Classic before you launch the one that runs in OSX.
