I keep many Tiff and PSD files on my server RAID drive, as well another system’s data on the network. If Photoshop CS (not a problem with 6.01) had been editing a file from a network drive, previously, and had been shut down, it stalls when opening if the previous network source is offline and it can’t find the files it had in recent files history.

Is there a work-around to this, anyone?

Doug,

No. No workaround. The recent history is written (basically) as photoshop closes, when it also writes preferences and palette PSP files. Abnormal termination prevents this from happening.

Peace,
Tony
