Cross platform upgrade, requests old version.

Hello,

We recently did a cross platform upgrade for photoshop CS. After destroying the mac copy and sending the notice to adobe, they sent us a CS upgrade disk. However we need a older version of photoshop to install the upgrade, but all our other versions are for the mac, is there a solution to this? Talking with the rep on the phone it sounded like this would be a simple update. . .

Call the rep back and explain your current problem.

As a Cross platform ‘upgrade’ I’m pretty sure they should have sent you the normal retail product and not an upgrade CD

The disk and case they sent doesn’t say upgrade on it but the box does. The serial that came with it requests for an older version.

Looks like I’ll be talking to support again. The rep did ask if we had previous version and I replied, "Yes, they are all mac versions."

Guess it is just a mix up. =/

You’ll need to call Adobe. They’ll give you instructions on how to install the upgrade.
