Hi,
I’ve just designed a CD cover for my band and got all the images and written text just right but I am having problems with the main body text. Basically I am writing the words ‘team9’ at the size of 36 but I would like it, when printed, to have a more pronounced appearence than the rest of the cover, either more glossy or more ‘logo looking’. Make sense ?
Is this possible and how do I do it. Any help would be great. Cheers.

No, not really! Could you post a link to an example of the effect? Oh, and have a play with some of the blending modes, perhaps those will lead you in the right direction.

You could use a display type face for "Team9", and a light face for the rest of the type. For a "more glossy" look, you could use a spot channel for a varnish plate when printing, but I don’t think that would be that noticable if the CD cover were in a jewel case.
