Photoshop file prints to Epson R300 with color cast

Printing .psd images to this printer from Photoshop CS results in a dark photo with bluish hue.

Printing the same photo (saved as a high quality jpg) in MS Photo Editor to the same printer results in a good print without the dark color cast.

How can I fix this Photoshop problem please?

I’ve learned more since my first post above. After a couple of tests it looks like the color print problems happen when I print on glossy Epson photo paper with a photo setting. This is the result if I print from MS Photo Editor or Photoshop CS. I get the best color results when I print in normal mode on plain paper.

Maybe I’d get better color results if I printed on Epson matte photo paper?

Any helpful information would be appreciated.
